Snow, Snow, and More Snow

It snowed again in Wisconsin - we probably got about 6 inches of snow but I was so lucky when I got home from work that my "Snowblowing Fairy" had been here and I was able to drive right into my driveway and into the garage. He has made another pass - what can you do for a snowblowing fairy - I need to buy gas for the snowblower.

4 days off from work - I only worked 2 days this week but boy am I looking forward to 4 days off and being able to partake in some Paper Therapy - everything has been packed away for the holidays.

Since it is snowing - I am going to post a favorite Snow card for this year. I punched an opening in the cardstock with my Quikutz scalloped circle dies, stamped image on patterned paper, covering the window is acetate that I ran through a Xyron and then added glitter. Rub on snowflakes add the final touch.

Day after Christmas

Good morning everyone - it is the day after Christmas - is anyone hitting the malls for shopping and returns.
I do need to go to Home Depot and get some replacement bulbs for my kitchen light, may stop by the Scrapbook store for a stamp I saw.
I am having a leftover party tonight so I have the insides of turkey enchiladas made already and the cake for the trifle. I think I am going to go take a nap - I was awake at 4 this morning.
This card was another one I did for the Basic Grey Holiday Card contest - the bulb image was too large on the patterned paper so I cut it out and decreased the size on my printer and printed it out - added a rub on to it and cuddlebuged the background. It was great fun to do.
Everyone have a wonderful day.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas - Happy Holidays to all. A delightful day spent with family.
Here is one of the Christmas cards I made for the Basic Grey Holiday Card contest - on this card I fussy cut the bird and the trim around the birds neck. I used the souffle pen on the dots and designs on the blue background paper - it really makes the design up. Cardstock letter stickers for the joy.
I am missing my paper - in a couple days I will be able to bring out my supplies again and create. My head has been thinking about what I want to make first - maybe a New Year's Card.
Hope everyone had a special day today.

Winter Wonderland (Bah Humbug)

Today's post is an anniversary card I made for my daughter. This is another image that was in an e mail - she has a yellow lab and black mix dog so seemed very appropriate for an anniversary card.
Cold blustery day in Wisconsin. Winds up to 30 some miles so no trip out to get Grandma today. So today I will do more cooking - fighting with the turkey, cooking the turkey, I see the potatoes being done and the cheesecake.
Everyone have a wonderful day.

More E Mail Cards

This is another image that was in the same e mail that the image on the 12/21 card was from. This fun image could be used for a wedding anniversary, a marriage of an older couple or as a thank you to some very dear friends. I know (I hope anyway) that they got a hoot out of the card.
Supplies
Basic Grey Paper
Prima Flowers
Have a wonderful way - I have lots to do for Xmas preparations. Many people coming for dinner and of course the weather in the Midwest is awful, fog, rain, snow, winds, dropping temps and that is the next 24 hours.
Happy shopping, cooking, relaxing - whatever you get to do today.

Birth of a Blog

Today Paper Therapy Ponderings is beginning its life. I hope it has a happy and healthy life.

I am going through paper withdrawal - I am getting ready for Christmas and I have packed away all the paper and tools - no time to create - but I want to - I walked through the scrapbook store for a little paper therapy.

Now I must go get more Christmas preparations done or just go to bed - as soon as the jammies are dry.
